How to Leave Comments in Boards

Comments allow you to add threaded discussions to specific points on your boards. They appear as interactive bubbles that can be expanded to view and add messages.

Adding a Comment

1. Click the Comment button in the toolbar at the top of the canvas.
2. Click on the canvas where you want to place the comment.

A comment bubble will appear at the location you clicked.

Adding a Comment via Context Menu

1. Right-click anywhere on the canvas.
2. Select Create Comment from the context menu.

A comment bubble will appear at the location where you right-clicked.

Viewing Comments

1. Click on any comment bubble on the canvas.
2. A comment thread will open to the right of the bubble, showing all messages in chronological order.
3. The thread will automatically close when you click elsewhere on the canvas.

Adding Messages to Comments

1. Open a comment thread by clicking its bubble.
2. Type your message in the input field at the bottom of the thread.
3. Send the message by either:
   • Pressing Ctrl+Enter (or Cmd+Enter on Mac)
   • Clicking the send button (arrow icon)

Comment Display

Comment bubbles show a number badge indicating how many messages are in the thread.
