How to Use Keyboard Shortcuts

Mooseboard supports several keyboard shortcuts to help you work faster.

Canvas Shortcuts

  • Paste Images/Files: Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+V (Mac)
    Paste images or files from your clipboard directly onto the canvas.

  • Delete Selected Elements: Delete or Backspace
    Delete all elements currently selected with the selection rectangle.

Element Shortcuts

  • Delete Element: Delete or Backspace
    When an element is selected (not in selection rectangle), press Delete or Backspace to remove it.
  • Toggle Sidebar: Ctrl+B (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+B (Mac)
    Show or hide the sidebar.

Canvas Movement Shortcuts

  • Pan Canvas (Space): Hold Space and drag
    Move the canvas view by holding the spacebar and dragging with the mouse.

  • Pan Canvas (Middle Mouse): Middle mouse button and drag
    Move the canvas view by clicking and dragging with the middle mouse button.

  • Pan Canvas (Modifier): Hold Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or Cmd (Mac) and drag
    Move the canvas view by holding Ctrl/Cmd and dragging with the mouse.

  • Zoom Canvas: Ctrl+Scroll (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Scroll (Mac)
    Zoom in and out of the canvas centered on the mouse cursor.

  • Pan Canvas (Trackpad): Scroll without Ctrl/Cmd
    Move the canvas view using two-finger scroll on trackpads.
