How to Downgrade Plans

Learn how to downgrade your Mooseboard subscription.

You can downgrade to a lower-tier plan or cancel your subscription through the customer portal.

Accessing Subscription Management

  1. Click on your profile picture or initials in the sidebar at the bottom.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on Billing in the settings navigation.
  4. Click the Manage Subscription button.

This will take you to the Stripe customer portal where you can manage your subscription.

Downgrading to Free Plan

In the customer portal, you can:

  • Cancel your subscription to downgrade to the free plan
  • Change to a different paid plan

What Happens When You Downgrade

When downgrading to the free plan, you may encounter limits:

  • Board Ownership: Limited to 3 owned boards (excess boards become inactive)
  • Board Contributions: Limited to 1 active contributing board
  • Board Invitations: Limited to 1 invited user per board
  • AI Credits: Limited to 10 credits per month
  • Storage: Limited to 100MB

Existing content remains accessible, but you may need to remove members or delete files to stay within limits. You can upgrade again at any time to restore full access.
